Oh, ok. Some questions:

1. How many variables are there?
2. Which variables are outside of your control? (eliminate them.)
3. Iterate through scenarios on the remaining variables (i.e. musical theme and variations.)
4. How many paths are left to explore?

Bloom’s Taxonomy (sorry, ex-school teacher on this side…) breaks learning down in several types and then provides additional breakdowns of these types

Two questions:

1. So what are music students actually learning?
2. and why the emphasis on classically trained?

Answer: They are learning Intuitive (natural & automatic) Problem Solving Patterns and processes…

Additional points about Music study: Work & Experience

• many college student musicians are also employed part-time as musical performers
• many college student musicians have actually studied their private instrument since they were children

How is this different from what and how other

If you have passion about what you are learning or doing then there is a high probability that you will invest significantly more time in developing your skill sets and knowledge base surrounding your passion…
