A new day :)
In the United States January 20, 2009 is a day of:
- hope
- fulfilment
- expectation
- joy
- dis-belief (did I really live to see this day?)
- wonder
- celebration (we have a peaceful, tremendous political shift and we revel in it.)
- a new partnership in American politics.
With possibly record numbers of on-site observers (the ‘crowd at the Mall’ – may have new meaning) and countless more viewers using television and Internet monitors this may be one of the most watched global events.
Most Americans will be welcoming the change that Barak Obama represents – he will need to be true to his vision and message; Americans look forward to doing what we can to help move our country forward.
